Bee's on a run!!

The first game in Conference Tournament play showed the true spirit and determination of the SCAD Bees. Coming in as the underdog team in 4th place the Bees came out 2-0 on the day. An explosive first game lead to a victory of 7-3 against the conference champion and #17 ranked Warner. Solo home runs from Jessaca Spears and Courtney Mienkina, a home run robbing catch by Jackie Rooney were few of the sensational moments in the game. The second game the Bees played in the tournament was against St. Thomas University. Even with the solo home run by Jessaca Spears in the second inning, by the bottom of the 5th inning SCAD was down 6-1. In the top of the 6th inning Kasey Keown started a 2 out rally to score 4 runs bringing the score to 6-5. In the top of the 7th once again the Bees came out to score 2 runs, coming out to hold St. Thomas and winning 7-6. The Bees play again in the championship game tomorrow at 12:30 pm.
