i talked to my good friend sammay sosa about her pitches and how she felt before the game. we talked about what pitches felt good and what she thought she wanted to work on and i think her vocalizing her thoughts made her able to realize what she needed to do to get better. sammay not only did you help me realize that i should talk with my teammates as much as i can to see how they are doing and feeling, but you helped yourself as well!
when courtney came off the field after a long inning i heard krista tell her that she would probably get to the bunts quicker if she watched the batters hands. i think courtney really listened because the next inning she got the runner out.
i know that miss Kiara a.k.a. Princess Slay-ya, helps the rest of her fellow freshmen work through hard times during practices and the games, and she's really helped NeNe with her surgery and helped her get through it! way to go P.Slay-ya!!!
Amanda helped the whole team out bye cheering us all on.
Courtney is always encouraging everyone to keep pushing through it. In hitting practice and at conditioning she is continuously telling my whole group to keep pushing or a slight change in your swing may help you see the ball better etc. At the games when I was pitching I heard her talking to me before each pitch along with cheering on the entire team each game. :)
DJ was extremely helpful this week. She helped me work on my spins and told me what I needed to do in order to achieve the right movement on the ball. She helped the freshman by telling us what we needed to do and reminded us about the tasks we had to accomplish before the game. She was a great teammate and helped me feel more relaxed on the mound.
I give Lisa rides sometimes so we've had a couple serious talks. She's helped me put things in perspective and, as a result, help me play better ball and get more out of practices. Thanks girl!
Jessaca, my buddy always does her best to allow others to know what is going on. Especially at practices when it's only the underclassmen, she is a leader is telling others exactly what to do, preventing them from making mistakes, and bettering them in the future. (:
my buddy jamie helped the whole team get better this weekend by showing her dedication to the team. she had surgery the day before our games and still came out to support us and cheer us on. i think that pumped everyone up a bit just having her there to support us. youre way too awesome nene!
Kristen helped me this week at second base. I was unsure about some of the things that I needed to do as a second basemen, and she was happy to help me out if I had a question. Thank you so much for everything Kristen!
Carl has been teaching me how to play outfield since the beginning, but this week specifically she taught me how to slap bunt and how to dive without injuring my right arm =]
Kylie aka DISCO, is my buddy at 2nd base. We give each feedback on the field and encourage one another to get better everyday. She has a great attitude on&off the field and is FUN to be around. We are gonna have a Blast this season. There's going to be tons of great memories, so bring a camera!! LOL ...btw, Kylie you did a great job hitting this past weekend!! Go Lefty!!! whoop whoop!!
Jamie V helped me out this week by helping me out in the outfield and making sure I knew what was going on at all times. I appreciate it! Thank you jolly mean giant :)
just want too say thanks everyone for helping me out with my surgery and making me feel better! you guys are allll awesome!!!!kasey really helped me out this week by talking to me a lot. we had a huge heart to heart this week about everything that ive been going through and it really helped me. i appreciate it so much and shes a great teammate and friend!! thanks kase!! :)
Candle, aka. fighter fluid, makes a great effort to listen and adjust. She did a really good job in right field and at the plate because of her willingness to learn and her hard work. I think that she is a great sport!! As for bettering the team this weekend she and the other freshies we're paying extra attention to the signals coach was giving the batter/runner even while in the dugout. I overheard them saying what coach was signaling like they were studying for a test. I thought it was great!!!
christina talked to me about her pitching style and i learned how i could get better at calling better pitching sequences to make her better on the mound
Ashley does a very good job in practice and games by giving it her all on the field. I see her improving everyday. Keep up the good work Ash!!!
Jackie, my buddy, this past week has helped me with my outfield work. She has helped me to improve my outfield throw and has helped me to better read the ball and move to it. She has been a lot of help, as well as the other outties! Thanks a bunch!
