The SCAD team traveled to the Faulkner Invitational to go head to head with ranked opponents and even though the final scores were a little short the expectations and effort were reached. The 2010 softball schedule has ranked teams through out the season so that the Bees can continue to be tested on a regular basis.
"It is unfortunate that we didn't walk away with at least one more win but I feel our girls stepped up to the challenges and we were able to identify both our strengths and weaknesses. The next time we step on the field with a ranked opponent we will come out with a win!"
The Bees home tournament the Boombah Smash Hit spring break tournament begins on Thursday with SCAD hosting Georgetown at 4:00 and 6:00 pm. The Boombah Smash Hit Tournament runs through March 12th with 63 games played over 16 days.
