NEW, NEW, NEW...

New..that is the word for September. New season, new faces, new goals, new dreams, new expectations...
A new season brings new leadership to our team. Our hardworking Seniors and Juniors will lead our team to new victories. Both of our seniors, Jessaca Spears and Britany Gonzales, are great assets to the team. Last year Jessaca got All-Conference, Player of the Year, and NAIA All-American. Brittany got All-Conference and NFCA All-Region team.
For our five juniors, Kylie Rash, Samantha White, Kiara Boccia, Krista Ross and Olivia Kline, this year it will be a new experience, as leaders and mentors, who will help sophomores and freshmen to get established on the field and off the field.
The new season also brings new dreams for our two returning sophomores, Alexis Snyder and Nirana Singh. Both girls did great as freshmen last year. We will be looking forward to see their progress this year.
Some new faces can be seen on our team. We have ten freshmen, who joined us this year: Sarah Halliwell, Sydnee Schoor, Erica Gorcia, Taylor Thomas, Keri Corey, Gabrielle Churchill, Briana Mateo, Jana Brandeik, Kayla Myles, Precious Williams. We are very excited to have them on the team.
September is a very challenging month for our players, especially freshmen. It is a month of adjustments: trying to move into a new "home," a month of starting a new school, new classes, adjusting to a new area...
The new season also starts with new assistant coaches, Coach Renee Lacroix and Coach Ksenia Braswell. Renee played as a shortstop at North Caroline State and Jacksonville University. She is a graduate assistant, studing media and performing arts. Coach Ksenia Braswell originaly from Moscow Russia, she played as a catcher for Armstrong Atlantic State University and Russian National Team.
The most excited part of the month of September is NEW FRIENDSHIPS and NEW BONDS between the girls. Friendship that will last for the rest of their lives...
Cheers to NEW, Cheers to September, Cheers to our team and our fans...
