After Dickinson State got a run back in the top of the third, the Bees responded with run-scoring single by Jaime Voelkel in the bottom of the inning.

The Bees took a 5-1 lead in the fifth on a two-run homer by Courtney Mienkina. It was her fifth of the season. SCAD closed out the game early as the Bees added four runs in the sixth inning. Jackie Rooney and Kristen Curette had RBI singles while Voelkel added a sacrifice fly.

The Bees walked away from the Tucson Invitational Games with a 3-3 record. SCAD recorded their wins against St. Ambrose, Missouri Valley and No. 2 Dickinson State in the tournament.
